Took a short trip to the country from Bogota, about an hour. One cannot travel great distances without nourishment! Fernando knew a small Italian Restaurant that prepares all dishes from local produce. Notice the drying of tomatoes. The dish I am holding was porchini mushrooms sauted in olice oil. The pasta dish was tri color, i.e. homemade ravoli noodle filled with a spinach /pesto, one with home made cheese, and the third was carne [meat].
